The course's we do introduces students to the use of personal computers. Students learn about the components that make up a personal computer and they acquire some basic knowledge of how to use several of the most common types of application software (Microsoft Word, Access and Excel). Students are also given an introduction to the creation and use of various kinds of media files (audio, video, graphics, animation) and they are also introduced to the Internet and the use of a browser and various plug-ins, allowing students view or hear different kinds of media files.
